Review: The owner of CPE Tree Service came to our house on 9/9 to look at the trees we wanted to remove and quote us. He set the appointment to remove the trees for 9/29. On the day of 9/29, I received a call around 11:30am advising he had a contract with some development that he was working on in the morning and by the time he would make it to me it would be raining, so he had to reschedule for 10/8. The big storm was on 10/7, so on 10/8 I wasn’t too surprised I didn’t hear from them. I called in the afternoon and was told by the secretary (I believe his wife?) that she would DEFINITELY talk to him on Friday night or Saturday morning and would call me back to confirm that they could reschedule me for 10/15. Never received a call to confirm, so I called and left a message on 10/13 asking for an update and if we could still be rescheduled for 10/15 as they mentioned. No call back, so I called again and left another message on 10/16, asking them to PLEASE let me know one way or the other if they would be able to remove the trees, because one of the trees was dead and already had damaged my car, and if they weren’t going to do it I really needed to schedule another tree company to come help. No call back, text message, or any response at all. I have never been completely ignored by any company before, and at the very least, the courteous thing to do would be to let me know they were too busy or making more money on bigger jobs to take the trees I needed down, and that I should look for someone else. Very disheartening during these times to be treated like this by a local company, who wasted over a month of my time.
