Review: They did not finish the job even though we paid them in full for a job done in summer 2022. They put away their equipment and did not remove the entire tree as requested and agreed upon as part of the job. For some unknown reason, the workers did not cut down the remaining 10 ft. tree trunk. It would have been easy to finish cutting it. Stump grinding was not needed for this job.Duane had looked at the tree prior to the job for the price estimate and we agreed upon what the completed job would entail. Repeated return appointments and promises made by Duane to take care of the unfinished tree removal were no shows by Duane, repeated calls and texts to Duane were unanswered by him.We spent several thousand dollars for an unfinished job. We used this service several times before and thought they woud treat a returning customer well. We regret recommending this business to neighbors and friends and have told them to cancel their work orders. The business does not care about customer satisfaction or doing an honest job. We should have believed other reviews that they have a reputation for poor work quality, unfinished work, and no response. We will file a complaint with the BBB and the NYS Attorney General. We recommend that other customers who have been cheated by Mark’s Tree Service also file complaints.Their slogan says “don’t ask why we’re so low”, but you should ask. It is low because they do poor quality work. If they ever finish the job, I will update my review.
